Eagles Cast Shadow Over NAIA Lacrosse at No. 1
By Mike DeVader, Reinhardt Director of Athletic Communications & Media
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The string of good news for Reinhardt men's lacrosse continued Wednesday after the NAIA national office announced that the Eagles are still the team to beat in the 2021 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll.
The hometown squad earned No. 1 thanks to 66 voting points and a 2-0 record – most recently coming off a stellar performance at home against then-No. 3 Keiser (Fla.), 12-1.

In the victory over the Seahawks, Gavin Banks and Conner Mills each netted three shots to lead the Reinhardt offense in scoring, and not far behind them was the duo of Zane Anderson and Tyler Chavous with two goals apiece.
Matt Webb was also completely dominant in the cage last Saturday for the Eagles against Keiser, as the senior goalie surrendered a solo goal early in the game before keeping the Seahawks scoreless the rest of the way for nearly 50 minutes.
In total, he made 13 saves in the victory out of 14 attempts on-goal by Keiser.
