Shervington is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and is licensed in the state of Georgia. He is also certified in CPR/AED/First Aid and SASTM.

History:
Megan Maxwell is a native of Gainesville, Georgia, and rejoined the Reinhardt University Athletic Training staff in January 2024 as the Head Football Athletic Trainer. Before Reinhardt, Megan served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for 3 & ½ years for Pro Impact Physical Therapy, where she was contracted to Faulkner University. Her sport assignments with Faulkner University included Men’s/Women’s Soccer, Baseball, and Football. She was a part of 2 NAIA World Series qualifying teams with Baseball in 2020 & 2021. She also served as a Preceptor for local MAT programs and senior intern students at Faulkner.
From August 2019 to March 2020, Megan worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Reinhardt with both the Men’s and Women’s Basketball.
Before becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, she attended Piedmont College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in May 2019. At Piedmont College, she had the opportunity to work with Men’s Basketball, Women’s Lacrosse, Baseball, and Men’s/Women’s Tennis at the Division III level. In August 2022, she earned her Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science (Sports Nutrition Concentration) degree from Concordia University Chicago’s online program.
Megan is excited to return to Reinhardt University and looks forward to working on one of the NAIA’s top Athletic Training departments. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and cheering on the UGA football team at Sanford Stadium in Athens.

Assistant Athletic Trainer – 2nd Year at Reinhardt
Areas of Responsibility: Football | M/W Basketball
History:
Aryanna Gerald, a native of Loganville, GA, joined the Reinhardt Athletic Training staff in July 2024. Prior to Reinhardt, Aryanna was a graduate student at Appalachian State University, obtaining her Master of Science in Athletic Training. During her time at App State, she provided athletic training coverage in various settings at the secondary and division I & II collegiate levels, including men’s and women’s basketball, track and field, and football.
Aryanna is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and holds licensure for the state of Georgia as of July 2024.
Before becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer, Aryanna attended Georgia State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2021. In her spare time, Aryanna enjoys reading books and when time and money allows traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

History:
Lauren Parker, from Dalton, Ga, started working at Reinhardt as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2025. Prior to working at Reinhardt, she completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Studies at Reinhardt University, where she also played softball for 4 years, and received her Master's of Athletic Training degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During her time in graduate school, she worked in various clinical settings, including high school, D1, D2, and NAIA collegiate levels, working football, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s lacrosse. In her spare time, she loves to read and spend quality time with her friends and family.

Assistant Athletic Trainer – 1st Year at Reinhardt
Areas of Responsibility: Football | Flag Football
History:
Prior to Reinhardt, Amanda attended the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, where she completed her master’s degree in athletic training. While there, she worked primarily with the Mocs’ football program while also assisting with other sports. Her graduate work experience included an immersion as an athletic training student with the United Football League in Arlington, Texas.
Amanda completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2022.
