RU WVB Takes Care of Business with a SWEEP Over St. Andrews

Laurinburg, NC – After an electrifying win earlier in the week from the Eagles, the Reinhardt women's volleyball team carried their momentum into the weekend with a sweep over AAC opponents, St. Andrews University.

 The Eagles did a great job controlling this match from beginning to end, and was able to lead in all statistical categories. Reinhardt's offensive has been proving to be very strong; with this match, hitting a .363 as a team. In fact, had 44 total kills to the Knight's 17. RU's Juliette Baffico and Katherine Perrin were the weapons of the match with Baffico with 14 kills and Perrin with 12. 

 With the 2023 season coming to an end, the Eagles are playing some great volleyball as they will be heading into the final two weeks of the regular season. They are sitting with an AAC record of 12-4 and an overall record of 19-5. Reinhardt has a big week coming up with three home games, starting with hosting Brenau on Tuesday at 6:30pm.

 Leaders:

• Juliette Baffico finished the match with a 14 kills (.345), while Katherine Perrin had 12 (.455).
• Ashlynn Barnes did a nice job setting her hitters up, totaling 34 assists. Barnes also added 9 digs.
• Sarah Sweet had the squad high in digs with 11. Sweet also led in service aces with 2 and added 8 assists.
• Jenna Smith stood strong at the net, totaling 4 total blocks.
