Eagles Away Trip Results in 1-1 Split VS Union & Johnson

The Reinhardt women's volleyball team began an away trip this past weekend starting with Union College on Friday night and then made their way to Johnson University the following day. 

 The first match of this trip versus Union led to a 3-0 sweep in favor of the UC Bulldogs. With a couple of players out with injury and RU's offensive errors, it made this match a difficult one to overcome for the Eagles. However, Reinhardt did a nice job of bouncing back the following day at Johnson to earn the 3-1 win over the Royals. RU's Katherine Perrin led in both matches offensively with 10 kills versus UC and 16 kills versus JU. 

 Even with this weekend 1-1 split, the Eagles are sitting with a strong AAC record of 10-4 and a 17-5 record overall. The next match for the Eagles will a home AAC match versus TMU this upcoming Tuesday, October 17^th, at 6:30pm.

• Katherine Perrin finished the night with 10 kills, while Faith Breitbarth had 8.
• Maria Cordova led in assists with 11 and Samantha Cramer added 10. 
• Sarah Sweet had the squad high in digs with 11.
• Maria Piliposyans added a block.
• Ramsey Chambers had 2 service aces.

• Katherine Perrin led her team in kills with 15 and hit a .345. Following her was Allison Selway and Jenna Smith with 11 kills a piece.
• Maria Cordova had 22 assists, while Samantha Cramer added 19.
• Maria Piliposyans led in blocks with 4. 
• Sarah Sweet had the team's most with 24 digs. Sweet also had 7 assists and 2 service aces.
