Eagles WVB Split During Weekend in South Carolina

Columbia, SC – The Reinhardt women's volleyball team went 1-1 on a road trip to South Carolina. Both games were AAC opponents, with the first being the Columbia College Koalas. 

 The Eagles faced the Koalas on Friday night and earned the 3-0 sweep. Then, the following morning Reinhardt was hosted by the CIU Rams but lost in 3. Reinhardt is currently sitting at the #2 spot in conference behind CIU. Reinhardt is now 9-3 in the AAC and has a 16-4 record overall.  

Game One VS Columbia (3-0; 25-16, 25-13, 25-18)

 Leaders:

• Faith Breitbarth finished the night with 9 kills, while Katherine Perrin and Jenna Smith each had 6.
• Ashlynn Barnes led in assists with 20. Barnes also was the leader in digs in 12 and added 4 kills and 6 service aces.
• Maria Piliposyans led in blocks with 2.

 Leaders:

• Allison Selway led her team in kills with 11 and hit a .250. Following her was Katherine Perrin with 9 kills.
• Setter, Ashlynn Barnes, had 28 assists and had 7 digs.
• Shaniya Banks, Juliette Baffico, and Maria Piliposyans each had a block. 
• Sarah Sweet had the team's most with 12 digs. Sweet also had 4 assists.
