Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt women's volleyball team traveled to Brenau University and brought back home the 3-0 sweep over the BU Tigers (3-0; 25-18, 29-27, 25-20). The first set saw RU off to a 7-2 lead before Brenau closed that gap with a couple of service aces. The points remained close until Reinhardt gained another lead that gave them the 19-14 advantage. RU's Juliette Baffico and an ace from Ashlynn Barnes helped close set one 25-18.
Set two gave the Tigers an 8-1 advantage before Reinhardt's Sarah Sweet served 5 consecutive balls to eventually tie the match at 12 a piece. Set two remained a tight score until Reinhardt was able to have the set point 24-21. Brenau then called a timeout and came out and had three back-to-back kills to go ahead 25-24. Finally, Reinhardt was able to take the game thanks to a kill from Katherine Perrin and an ace from Calena Myers. Brenau went on another early run in set three but RU did a great job of maintaining their composure and worked together to get the lead 10-9. Set three saw Reinhardt close out set three to take the sweep over Brenau.
With this win, Reinhardt improved their record to 12-3 overall and an AAC record of 5-2. Reinhardt will be ending this week with a couple of home games starting on Thursday night, where the Eagles will take on Tennessee Wesleyan at 6:30pm. Then the Eagles will be matching up versus the Bryan College Lions on Saturday at 11am.

- Juliette Baffico led in kills for her team with 16 to hit a .355, while Katherine Perrin had 12 kills and hit a .346. Baffico also had 3 service aces.
- Ashlynn Barnes led in assists with 33. Barnes also added 11 digs and a 2 service aces.
- Libero, Sarah Sweet, had the squad-high in digs with 15. Sweet also added 6 assists and 2 service aces.
- Emma Ponkova and Jenna Smith each had 4 blocks.
