Eagles End Road Trip 2-0 With Sweep over Kentucky Christian
Grayson, KY – The Reinhardt women's volleyball team ended their away trip with a match played at Kentucky Christian. The Eagles ultimately swept the KCU Knights meaning they will be coming home 2-0, winning 6 sets and losing none (3-0; 25-13, 25-12, 25-15). For a second time in a row, Reinhardt's Katherine Perrin had a killer match with 15 kills out of her 22 attacks, resulting in a .636 hitting percentage.
Reinhardt did a great job staying consistent, minimizing errors, and continuing their momentum throughout the entirety of the match. This and numerous runs led to a 3 set to nothing sweep over KCU. Reinhart have no improved their record to an AAC record of 3-1 and a 10-2 record overall. The Eagles will finally be playing back at home this upcoming week with a match versus St. Andrews on Tuesday, September 19th at 6:30pm. Then the Eagles will be matching up verses CIU at home the following Saturday, September 23rd at 4pm.
