Eagles Take 3-0 Sweep Over TMU on Senior Night and Last Home Game
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball played their last regular-season home match versus the Truett McConnell Bears. The Eagles ended the match with a dominating performance that led to the sweep over the Bears (3-0; 25-17, 25-17, 25-16). This game also served as Senior Night to honor volleyball seniors, Claudia Klein, Ambria McBride, and Sarah Sweet, as they played their last home game as an Eagle. The Reinhardt Eagles finish out their regular season 16-4 in the AAC. The next series of games will be in Kingsport, Tennessee for the AAC Conference tournament.
Outstanding Performers:
- Allison Selway led the Eagle offense with 10 kills, while Katherine Perrin followed behind with 9 kills.
- Samantha Cramer led in assists with 21, while Maria Cordova added 16. Cordova also added 7 digs and 2 services aces as well.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 21 digs while Sarah Sweet had the second-most with 12. and Claudia Klein added 7. Vazquez-Nunez had a pair of aces on the match as well.
- Emma Ponkova ended the match with 5 total blocks.
