Montreat NC – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team traveled to Montreat College to play AAC opponents, the Cavaliers. The Reinhardt team earned a 3-0 sweep over Montreat thanks to spread-out offense, where 6 different players had 5 or more kills. (3-0; 25-18, 25-19, 28-16). With this win, the Eagles are sitting at 15-4 in the AAC, while Montreat falls to 7-12 in the AAC.
Outstanding Performers:
- Savanna Horton and Ambria McBride led the Eagle offense with 7 kills a piece.
- Samantha Cramer led in assists with 18, while Maria Cordova added 16.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 10 digs while Sarah Sweet had 8 and Claudia Klein added 7. Klein also added 3 service aces on the day as well.
- Maria Piliposyans ended the match with 5 total blocks.
