Reinhardt Overtakes the Johnson Royals with 3-0 AAC Win
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team hosted the Johnson (Tenn.) Royals on Saturday, October 15th. The Eagles earned the sweep over the Royals after Reinhardt had swept Union the night before. This was Reinhardt's 5th-straight AAC win and they improved their record to 11-3 in conference play. (3-0; 25-21, 25-20, 25-19). Reinhardt is currently ranked 4th in the conference.
Outstanding Performers:
- Reinhardt had 3 players who each had the team's high of 9 killed. This includes Katherine Perrin (.348), Maria Piliposyans (.462), and Allison Selway (.318)
- Maria Cordova also ended the match with 8 kills, 23 assists, and 13 digs. Samantha Cramer also added 19 digs and 3 service aces.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 32 digs.digs with 3 service aces.
- Maria Piliposyans had 8 blocks.

- The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team will now continue its conference play with an away-game this coming Tuesday, October 18th, versus the Point University Skyhawks at 6:30pm. This will be Reinhardt's second match up against Point after sweeping them 3-0 the first game.
