MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The second and final day of the Faulkner Invitational resulted in two tough losses for the Eagles. Reinhardt first played Southeastern in a 5-set match (2-3; 19-25, 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 8-15). The second game Eagles got another chance at William Carey but ended up losing to them in 4 (1-3; 14-25, 27-25, 20-25, 14-25).
Game One:
Reinhardt fought hard against the Southeastern Fire in a back-and-forth match but ultimately came short, losing the 5th and final match 15-8. This would be the Eagle's 3rd consecutive 5-set match after winning 3-2 verses Mobile & losing 2-3 verses Faulkner the day before. Allison Selway continued her strong effort with 16 kills, Ambria McBride (14) and Caroline Curry (9) helped lead the offense as well. Maria Cordova again helped the offense flow totaling 42 assists. For the second-consecutive day, Alma Vazquez Nunez was all over the floor with defense with a squad-best 28 digs. Nunez also added 5 aces in the loss.

Game Two:
The last game of the tournament ended with Reinhardt losing to William Carey(3-1). William Carey started off hot winning the first set 25-14. Reinhardt battled back in the second set resulting in winning 27-25. This wasn't enough to keep the momentum for the Eagles, down falling the final two sets, 25-20 and 25-14. Maria Cordova was all over the stat sheet with 12 kills, 24 assists, 17 digs, and added a couple of aces. On the defensive side, Alma Vazquez Nunez had the team's best 22 digs.
