KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After coming within an eyelash of the round of 16 at the 2018 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship, presented by Delta Hotels, Reinhardt made more history on Wednesday evening after finishing the year No. 25 in the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced.
The Top 25 mention is the first time ever the program has seen its name in the rating, and the Eagles earned the final slot in the poll after going 35-8 with a victory in pool play for the first time in the National Championship last week.
"Since joining Reinhardt last year, we have had many firsts, and that continues today as we just found out we finished the season ranked in the Top 25 – Reinhardt finishing ranked No. 25 in the country," head coach Brian Goodhind said. "For me as a coach, I'm more excited for our girls. They put in the work and it's my hope that seeing something like this, they realize all their hard work has led to doing some amazing things. I love sitting back and seeing all the wonderful things our RU community has to say about the girls. It's been a pretty amazing journey so far these first two seasons, and I hope we can continue to build on what we've accomplished.
"With all that said, to God goes all the glory and I'm so thankful for the blessing of being able to coach here at RU."

This reveal comes one day after Reinhardt earned its second Honorable Mention All-American in history as Tessa Colden was selected by the NAIA on Tuesday. Colden joined Denise De Vine (2013) as the only Eagle volleyball players to take home such recognition.
For the season, Colden played in all 43 outings and compiled at team-best 394 kills with a hitting percentage of .258.
She also collected 54 aces from the serving line and 21 total blocks.
