Eagles Outdoor Track & Field Compete at Kennesaw State Invitational
Kennesaw, GA - Reinhadrt Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field teams competed at the Kennesaw State Invitational on Friday, April 7th. The team had many personal records and school records during the meet.
Camren Bailey was one of the standout performers running both in the 100m and 200m for the Eagles. He finished 5th overall in the 100m with a time of 10.62, which was a new personal record at Reinhardt for Bailey. He finished 7th in the 200m with a time of 21.86 seconds.
Tyler Hallum had a great day running in the 400m with a time of 48.90 seconds which put him in 7th place overall. This was a new season record for Hallum.
In the Men's 5000m, the Eagles had several top performers. Salvador Castillo finished 3rd overall with a time of 15:29. Logan and Braden Ray finished 4th and 6th respectively with times of 15:48 and 15:59. This was a personal record for Logan Ray.
On the women's side, Kerstyn Thomas ran a new personal record in the 200m with a time of 28 seconds. Javen Wimberly had a personal best for 2023 in the long jump with a distance of 4.92 meters. Brooke Simon ran the 5000m with a time of 19:41.
