Eagles Track Competes at Don McGarey Invitational Meet at KSU
Kennesaw, GA - Solid day for our entire group as we saw 26 personal bests and 28 AAC conference qualifying marks on a day with less than ideal conditions for the track events. To have nearly half of those coming from the track events is a testament to the grit and fight these men and women show in each practice and meet. The field event side had a tremendous meet with David launching the 2nd best throw in the NAIA in the Javelin while setting a new school record. He's had 20 total throws in the Javelin, so to say he's still raw is a scary thought! Pole Vault group all had great days with Madison, Luis and Austin all setting personal bests in the event. Throws group really led the way and I'm happy where that event group is headed with the leadership of Coach Josh White.
