Eagles Pick Up Road AAC Wins at Columbia
Columbia, SC - Reinhardt Men's and Women's Tennis continue with their great season by picking up additional wins at Columbia College. Both won by commanding 7-0 wins.
The Women's Team had a few forfeits by Columbia in both doubles and singles. The #1 doubles team of Nina Thomet and Julieta Boerr won their match 6-3. The next two spots of Mia Hoeddinghaus & Pilar Becerra and Tayla Kruger & Taylor Nelson won by forfeits.
In singles, Taylor Nelson won 6-4, 1-6, 10-8 in her #1 position. Nina Thomet won 6-0 and 6-1 in the number two spot and Tayla Kruger won 6-0, 6-0 in the third spot. Mia Hoeddinghaus won by forfeit in the #4 position.
For the Men's Team, Luciano Fisicaro & Pau Pujadas won 6-1 as the #1 team. The team of Michael Wassef & Bruno Squarcia and Nicholi Hensburg & Federico Zeiter both won 6-0 in the number two and three positions respectively.
Fisicaro, Squarcia, Pujadas, Wassef, Hensburg, and Zeiter all won easily in their one through six positions. Fisicaro was 6-2, 6-0. Squarcia was 6-1, 6-3. Pujadas won 6-1, 6-1. Wassef was 6-0, 6-1. Hensburg and Zeiter both won 6-0, 6-0 in the fifth and sixth position for the #13 ranked Eagles.
Both teams will be back home for a conference match against Truett McConnell on Thursday at Bridgemill.
