KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The national highlights just keep rolling in for Reinhardt after a strong 2021 campaign, and on Tuesday evening, the Eagles were given their highest NAIA ranking in school history at No. 15.
In the postseason edition of the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll – which can be viewed here – the coaches gave Reinhardt 203 voting points in the rating.
The hometown team finished 8-8 on the season after a second-round loss to Georgia Gwinnett in the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, but Reinhardt got to that point after the 18th-seeded Eagles took down No. 15 San Diego Christian (Calif.), 4-1, in the opener of the National Championship.
It was the first NAIA postseason victory as a team in history.
