Reinhardt Earns Highest Ranking in History at No. 18

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After receiving a three-spot boost in Wednesday's NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the Eagles set a new program record by being ranked No. 18 in the nation.
The hometown club (6-6) nearly jumped up four spots after being just one tally behind No. 17 Ave Maria (Fla.).

Most recently, the then-21st-ranked women's squad dropped a 6-1 decision to No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett on the road on Monday.
The Grizzlies got off on the right foot with the doubles win, 2-1, for the one-point advantage. The victory for Reinhardt came on line two with the duo of Stephanie Fernandez and Tayla Kruger, 7-6.
The hosts looked strong in singles action as they scored five-straight positive outcomes after Fernandez grabbed the lone point for her bunch following a retirement in the No. 1 contest after a set one score of 6-3.
Next up is the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship, which will be played at the Champions Club Tennis Complex in Chattanooga, Tenn. The tournaments begin on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday.
The Eagles take on the Bees of SCAD-Atlanta (Ga.) on Thursday afternoon. Below is the AAC match schedule:
Thursday, April 15 - All Matches begin no earlier than 2 p.m.

Match 8 - Championship Match - Match 6 Winner vs. Match 7 Winner
Fans are permitted to attend at the Champions Club, but masks must be worn at all times.
