By Mike DeVader, Reinhardt Director of Athletic Communications & Media
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time since 2017, Reinhardt women's tennis found its name inside the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, as the NAIA national office revealed Wednesday that the Eagles were placed at No. 21.
The hometown squad (4-4, 3-2 Appalachian Athletic Conference) continues to make strides and it's apparent that programs across the nation have noticed after the coaches gave Reinhardt 127 voting points in the Top 25.

Most recently, the Eagles traveled to take on the Skyhawks of Point (Ga.) and rolled to a 7-0 victory on the road as all the doubles and singles finals went to the hometown club.
Glauka Carvajal and Ana Rodriguez teamed up at No. 1 doubles for a 6-1 outcome, and then were joined in the winner's column by Stephanie Fernandez/Tayla Kruger (6-4) and Taylor Nelson/Elise Standing (6-3).
The visitors would then take care of business in individual play as well, as the scoresheet featured six positive outcomes: No. 1 Fernandez (6-1, 6-1), No. 2 Rodriguez (6-2, 6-4), No. 3 Carvajal (6-0, 3-1 (Ret.)), No. 4 Standing (6-4, 6-0) and No. 5 Kruger (6-2, 6-2).
Not to be outdone, Sofia Guaglianone also earned a win following her 6-3, 6-1 get-together.
The slate continues April 6 in a Noon clash with conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan at home.
