Bio
Alejandro Duero comes to Reinhardt University by way of Dalton State University Soccer. Duero was part of the 2024 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship, where he served as an assistant coach of both the men's and women's programs.
Duero played his first two seasons of college soccer at Florida College. While at Florida College, he helped the Falcons to a 24-3-4 record before transferring to Dalton State. After a redshirt season in 2019, Duero hit the pitch and helped anchor a backline that held their opponents scoreless on 18 occasions over two seasons, racking up a 25-7-2 record.
As an assistant coach at Dalton State, Duero helped the Roadrunners to a winning season, with the men rising to #1 in the country during the regular season in 2022,2023, and 2024. The men have also qualified for four straight NAIA Tournaments, reaching the Round of 8 on two occasions. The women have qualified for the SSAC Tournament twice while having multiple all-conference and all-academic recognitions.
This is Duero's first head coaching job after being the assistant for the past three seasons at Dalton State. He marks the third head coach in Reinhardt Women's Soccer history.
