2024 Women's Soccer Tournament Bracket Released; Truett McConnell Earns Top Seed

WALESKA, Ga. - The field is set for the 2024 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Soccer Tournament, and Truett McConnell is the No. 1 seed.

Truett McConnell and Tennessee Wesleyan are the AAC regular-season co-champions as they both finished with a 12-0-1 league record. The teams tied during the regular season, but Truett McConnell earned the top seed based on goal differential. Truett McConnell finished with a +43 goal differential in conference play, while Tennessee Wesleyan ended with a +32 goal differential.

The #3 Eagles will play this Saturday at 3 pm at Ken White Field.  The Rams of CIU will be the second-round opponent.  The Rams finished the season in 6th position in the standings.

In all, 10 teams advanced to the tournament with play beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

9. Union Commonwealth (7-7-3, 5-7-1 AAC) - 16 points

*-Truett gets the No. 1 seed based on goal difference (+43 vs. +32) since TMU and TWU tied during the regular season
**-Reinhardt beat Milligan 4-2 during the regular season to earn the No. 3 seed
