Eagles Win BIG Against Kentucky Christian, Earning the 8-0 SHUTOUT
Grayson, KY – The Reinhardt women's soccer team made their way to Kentucky to play in an AAC match-up against Kentucky Christian University. RU came out triumphant as they beat the Knights with a large margin of 8 goals to none. As RU enters the second half of the season, the Eagles improved their record to 4-1 and are 4-3 overall.
The Eagles offense proved tenacious as they took 28 total shots. RU had 9 different players earn a tally whether it be a goal or assist. The first goal came early, in the 5th minute of the game, Eagles' Marta Vicente Arche scored with an assist from Madeline Myers. The next two goals came from Belle Seward, with one of the goals assisted by Juliana Ramirez Molina. Seward and Molina led offensively with 2 goals a piece. The Eagles scoring continued consistently throughout the entirety of the match, with 4 goals scored in a total of 10 minutes.
