SAVANNAH, GA - 18th ranked SCAD (Savannah) used strong offense with 3 first-half goals to upset 17th ranked Reinhardt University on Saturday night 4-1 in Savannah, Ga.
Carrie Consolino got her team the early lead with the first goal of the game just one minute into the first half. SCAD answered with 3 goals in minutes 13-20. The rest of the game remained scoreless until the 70th minute with their 4th goal.
Reinhardt's goalie, Sarah Bambrick, had an impressive game with 7 total saves in goal.
The Reinhardt Eagles look to bounce back Monday, September 5th, when they will travel to play nationally ranked 6th, Keiser University. The Eagles next home match will take place Saturday, September 10th at 4:00 pm when the Rams of Bluefield come to Waleska.
