Waleska, GA. - In a challenging regular-season encounter, the Reinhardt University women's lacrosse team, faced off against DII Flagler College Saints on Saturday afternoon, in Waleska, GA. The game concluded with the Eagles succumbing to a tough 16-5 defeat against the highly 11th-ranked Saints.
From the onset, Flagler College displayed dominant performance, establishing an early lead that persisted throughout the contest. By halftime, the scoreboard read Flagler 10, Reinhardt 2, setting a difficult pace for the Eagles. Despite spirited efforts, the home team could not bridge the gap, ultimately conceding the game to their well-prepared opponents.
Reinhardt's performance had notable contributions, with goals from Lawna Henry, Kelsey Sowa, Brooklyn Hill, Marissa Davis, and Lainey Byrne. Davis also provided an assist, supporting the offensive plays. Defensively, Madison Hasty stood between the posts, accumulating 12 saves in her effort to thwart the Saints' advances.
