RU WLAX Picks Up Another Win Over St. Thomas 16-4 !!
Miami Gardens, FL – After a huge win the day before over #3 Keiser, the Reinhardt women's lacrosse team earned another big win over St. Thomas with a final score of 16-4.
The first quarter saw the Eagles score 5 unanswered goals from 5 different RU players. While St. Thomas was able to score 2 of their own in the 2nd, Reinhardt was quick to answer with 3 more balls put through the back of the net, to lead 8-2 at the half. In the third, RU's Jillian Mello and Shelby O'Neil each scored 2 goals of RU's 5. Finally in the last quarter, Reinhardt got three more to secure the 16-4 win over STU.
The next game for the Eagles will be an away match-up this upcoming Sunday, February 25th, versus Oglethorpe at 1pm. The Eagles are now sitting with a 2-1 record as conference play has yet to begin.
