Week 4: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week
WALESKA, Ga. - Angela Sciacchitano of Reinhardt and Shelby O'Neil of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2023 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 20.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Angela Sciacchitano - Reinhardt - Junior - Marietta, Ga.
- Helped Reinhardt to a 3-0 record on the week.
- Caused 10 turnovers.
- Had 8 groundballs and 1 draw control.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Shelby O'Neil - Reinhardt - Junior - Nashville, Tenn.
- Tallied 10 goals and 10 assists in helping Reinhardt to a 3-0 record on the week.
- Posted 5 goals and 5 assists in a 24-5 win over Montreat.
- Had 20 groundballs, 12 draw control2, and 5 caused turnovers as well.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
