Week 9: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week (Final Week)

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jessie Landers of Reinhardt and Morgan McGhee of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.

This is the ninth and final edition of the weekly honors for the 2022 season.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week

Jessie Landers - Reinhardt - Sr. - Fayetteville, Ga.

• Made 11 saves and allowed 11 goals on the week in helping Reinhardt to the AAC Tournament title.
• Registered a .500 save percentage.
• Named to the All-Tournament Team.
• This is her second weekly award this season.

AAC Offensive Player of the Week

Morgan McGhee - Reinhardt - Sr. - Marietta, Ga.

• Tallied 6 goals and 5 assists in helping Reinhardt to the AAC Tournament title.
• Had 15 ground balls, 6 draw controls, and caused 3 turnovers. 
• Named the Tournament MVP.
• This is her third weekly award this season.
