Week 4: AAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Jessie Landers of Reinhardt Savannah and Kate Gauntlett of Montreat are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2022 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 21.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Jessie Landers - Reinhardt - Sr. - Fayetteville, Ga.
- Recorded 18 saves on the week in helping Reinhardt go 2-0 on the week.
- Reinhardt defeated 2 top-10 teams last week in No. 6 Benedictine (Kan) and No. 9 Siena Heights (Mich.).
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Skii Bollinger - St. Andrews - Sr. - Wilmington, N.C.
- Had an 11-point day in helping Montreat to a 19-18 win over Truett McConnell.
- Scored 7 goals and dished out 4 assists.
- This was Montreat's first-ever win over Truett McConnell.
- Had 4 ground balls and caused 2 turnovers.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
