Defensive Player of the Week Goes to McGhee Again

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – For the fourth time this year, Morgan McGhee heard her name called by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) – this time as the Defensive Player of the Week – for her performance on the field between March 29-April 4.
McGhee was all over the field again for No. 5 Reinhardt, as the junior earned 12 ground balls, 10 draw controls and caused five turnovers.
Offensively, she also scored seven goals and had two assists.
This is the seventh edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 12.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan McGhee - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Had 12 ground balls, 10 draw controls, and 5 caused turnovers as Reinhardt went 2-0 on the week.
- Added 7 goals and 2 assists.
- This is her fourth weekly award this season.
Asbury (Ky.) is up next Wednesday at home at 6 p.m.
