Landers, McGhee Stand Above the Rest With League Accolades

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Jessie Landers and Morgan McGhee of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the sixth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on April 5.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Jessie Landers - Reinhardt - Soph. - Fayetteville, Ga.
- Recorded 11 saves as Reinhardt defeated No. 1 SCAD Savannah 19-4.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Morgan McGhee - Reinhardt - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Scored 5 goals and had 1 assist in the 19-4 win over No. 1 SCAD Savannah.
- Added 3 ground balls.
- This is her third weekly award this season, but this is her first offensive honor of the year.
