McGhee Receives Conference Nod as Week's Best Defender

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – After being a key cog in No. 6 Reinhardt's 2-0 week over No. 7 Life (Ga.) and St. Andrews (N.C.) at home, the Eagles' Morgan McGhee was again tabbed the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Defensive Player of the Week for her performances.
This is the fifth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 29.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan McGhee - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Helped Reinhardt go 2-0 on the week thanks to 16 ground balls, 12 draw controls and 6 caused turnovers.
- Also helped out with seven goals and four assists.
- This is her second weekly award this season.
