Women's Lacrosse Grabs Pair of League Accolades Monday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Morgan McGhee and Anna-Marie Gazzo of Reinhardt are the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week, the league announced Monday.
This is the fourth edition of the weekly honors for the 2021 season. The next set of awards will be announced on March 22.
AAC Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan McGhee - Reinhardt - Jr. - Marietta, Ga.
- Helped Reinhardt go 2-0 on the week by limiting the opponents to 7 combined goals.
- Had 11 ground balls and 7 draw controls on the week.
- Also helped out with 6 goals and 4 assists.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
AAC Offensive Player of the Week
Anna-Marie Gazzo - Reinhardt - Jr. - Dahlonega, Ga.
- Scored 8 goals and had 5 assists as Reinhardt went 2-0 on the week.
- Added 2 ground balls.
- This is her first weekly award this season.
