Women's Golf Wraps Up the Fall Season at the AAC Preview
Acworth, GA - RU Women's Golf finished the fall season on Tuesday at the 2024 AAC Fall Preview. There were nine AAC schools in attendance with SCAD Atlanta placing first overall shooting 58 over par. The Bees are currently ranked #9 nationally. The Bears of Truett McConnell edged out Milligan for the second-place spot shooting 63 over par. Milligan shot 69 over par as a team in their three rounds and they are currently ranked #8 nationally.
Reinhardt finished in seventh place overall with a score of 233 over par in their three rounds. They were eighteen strokes behind Montreat in sixth position.
The Eagles were led by Caroline Goddard and Isabella LoBue who shot 53 and 54 over par respectively. Goddard's best round was an 84 in her first round. LoBue's best round was an 81 in her first round.
Others competing for the Eagles were Samantha Roper (+62), Alaina Harris (+72), Samantha Hillhouse (+73), Olivia Fields (+102), Abbigael Allan (+166).
The tournament was held at the Governors Towne Club golf course in Acworth, GA. This was the final tournament of the season for the Eagles. They will start back up in early January for the spring season.
