Eagles Tee it up at Inaugural Firehawk Invitational

ATHENS, Ala. – Canebrake Golf Club was the site of the inaugural Firehawk Invitational that wrapped up on Wednesday with the Eagles finishing in fourth place out of six competing teams.
Reinhardt, who was paced by Lauren Welte and her tie for 12th at 19-over-par, had a cumulative total of plus-108 (972) in the three-round event.
Brooke Newsome was right behind Welte in a tie for 14th place, and Katie Kauffman also grabbed a placement within the top 20 at 22-over-par (T16).
Not to be outdone, Debbie Blount moved up two spots in the final round to finish in 23rd, while Maggie Mullins snuck into the top 30 finishers.
The final tournament before the spring slate is coming up on Oct. 25 at the AAC Fall Invite.
