RUWBB Secures the Victory 75-55 at SAU
Laurinburg, NC - In another AAC conference match-up, the Reinhardt University women's basketball team showcased a commanding performance against the St. Andrews Knights, resulting in a convincing 75-55 win on Saturday afternoon, in Laurinburg, NC. The Eagles improved their season record to an impressive 19-7 overall and 15-5 in the conference.
The game opened with St. Andrews taking the lead, but Reinhardt quickly retaliated, balancing the score with Noelle Lavery's three-pointer. Eagles' Julia Craft played a key role, consistently driving the offense to maintain and extend the lead. By halftime, Reinhardt narrowly led 31-29. The subsequent halves saw the Eagles dominating, with I'ziah McCutchins opening the third period with a decisive 3-pointer, which sparked a scoring run, enabling Reinhardt to pull away significantly by the end of the third period with a score of 56-44.
Among the top performers, Julia Craft led with 22 points, followed by Noelle Lavery with 19 points and 7 rebounds, and I'Ziah McCutch contributing across the board with 12 points and 7 assists.
