Eagles Soar to Victory In Dominating WIN over Union at Home
Waleska, GA. - In a dominant display of basketball, the Reinhardt University women's basketball team triumphed over the Union Commonwealth Bulldogs with a convincing 73-47 victory at the Brown Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon. The conference game underscored the Eagles' superiority, as they extended their winning record to 19-6 overall and 15-4 in the AAC.
From the outset, the Eagles set a punishing pace, leading 39-22 at halftime. The team maintained their momentum, culminating in their largest lead of 28 points during the fourth quarter with just over four minutes left on the clock. Key player Noelle Lavery starred with 22 points and 8 rebounds, followed closely by Julia Craft who added 18 points and 6 rebounds to the team's tally.
Additional contributions came from Haley Johnson, who not only scored 9 points but also contributed 6 rebounds and a steal. I'ziah McCutchins also played a great game with 4 assists and 4 steals, while Lana Van Dyke had 3 blocks.
