Waleska, GA. -The Reinhardt women's basketball team claimed a decisive victory against the St. Thomas Bobcats in a thrilling home league basketball game on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles delivered an outstanding performance at the Brown Athletic Center, clinching a 58-39 win to improve their season record to 11-3.
The first half set the tone for the game, with the Eagles taking a commanding 29-16 lead. Their robust defense and strategic offense kept the Bobcats at bay throughout the game. Notably, Noelle Lavery led the scoring with 15 points and contributed significantly with 8 rebounds. Julia Craft followed closely, adding 14 points and 3 steals to the team's tally.
Other contributing team members included Janiya Smith with 4 points and 1 steal, Mackenzie Franklin who secured 7 rebounds and added a block, and Lana Van Dyke with consistent play resulting in 4 points and 2 steals. The Eagles' team effort was evident in every quarter, showcasing their preparedness and skill.
