The matchup saw the Eagles establish a robust lead early, finishing the first half with a 40-28 advantage. This momentum carried into the second half, where Reinhardt expanded their lead, at one point outpacing CIU by 25 points in the fourth period. Key contributions from the bench, which added a crucial 10 points in the last quarter, underscored a well-rounded team effort.
Noelle Lavery was a standout performer, scoring 17 points, followed by Julia Craft with 13 points, and Laphina Campbell who added 10 points, enhancing the Eagles' offensive strength.
