The Eagles Secure the Victory over the UP Bears 71-66 in AAC Match-Up
Pikeville, KY. - In a riveting AAC conference basketball game held this past Wednesday night, at the UPIKE Gym, the Reinhardt women's basketball team triumphed over the Pikeville Bears with a final score of 71-66. This victory highlighted the Eagles' continued prowess in the conference, maintaining their flawless record at home and a overal record of 5-1.
The Eagles took an early lead and managed to stay ahead during the first half, ending it with a score of 41-33. Julia Craft, a standout player for Reinhardt, scored 19 points leading her team's offensive efforts. Other significant contributions came from Noelle Lavery with 13 points and 9 rebounds, and Laphina Campbell, who added 10 points to the scoreboard.
Pikeville attempted a comeback in the latter stages of the game, closing the gap significantly.
