Eagles Win Third Game of Season Against Life University
Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Women's Basketball secured a pivotal victory on Saturday against the Running Eagles of Life U, rallying from a halftime deficit to win 69-63 at The Brown! This triumph maintains their perfect season record at 3-0 early in the 2024-25 season.
The game began with intense competition, as the Eagles found themselves trailing at halftime with a score of 30-32. However, a strong second-half performance led by top scorer Noelle Lavery, who netted 21 points, reversed the tides in favor of Reinhardt. Lavery's critical free throws toward the end of the game were decisive, ensuring the Eagles' victory.
Supporting Lavery, I'ziah McCutchins and Julia Craft each added 13 points to the scoreboard. McCutchins also played a crucial role with her key three-pointers, contributing significantly to the team's success.
