Eagles WBB Earns Yet Another AAC Win at Bluefield University 73-51
Bluefield, VA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team traveled to Virginia to play the Bluefield University Rams on Saturday afternoon and earned the 73-51 win.
Reinhardt did a great job of maintaining their lead throughout the entirety of the match-up. With each game, RU proves to be the team to beat and they certainly have been playing like it. They go into every game knowing they are going to get everyone's best shot but this RU team really leans on each other to get the job done each and every time.
Reinhardt's Maria Sanchez Ponce was the leading scorer with 19 points. Tarrah Gibson also played a fantastic game, earning herself a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Eagles now sit with an 16-0 record in the AAC and have a 120-0 record overall. The next game for RU will be an away game at Brenau University on Wednesday, January 31st, at 5:30pm.
