RU WBB Extends Season Record to 18-0 with Win Over Columbia College!!

Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team hosted AAC opponents, the Columbia College Koalas, on Saturday night and came out on top 81-54. This was the second match-up between the Eagles and Koalas where RU took the win by 10 the last time. Reinhardt is currently sitting 1^st in the AAC and #25 in the NAIA with an unbeaten record.

 Columbia got off to a quick 10-4 lead to start the first quarter. RU was able to go on a run of their own but the Koalas were ahead 14-13 after the first quarter. Then the eagles went on to outscore their opponents 22-12 in the second, leading to a halftime score of 35-26.  The Eagles maintained a steady lead throughout the rest of the game, outscoring Columbia in both of the third and fourth quarters. 

Tarrah Gibson recorded a double-double for the Eagles with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ty Williams was the leading scorer with 16 points. 

 The Eagles now sit with an 14-0 record in the AAC and have a 18-0 record overall. The next game for RU will be an away game at Milligan on Wednesday, January 24^th, at 5:30pm.

• Tarrah Gibson recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. 
• Ty Williams led in scoring with 16 points while Ashley Woodroffe added 11. 
• Ashley Woodroffe led in assists with 3 and steals with 3.
