RU WBB Outscores the Pikeville Bears 76-62 to Remain Undefeated
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt women's Basketball picked up a great win 76-62 at home versus the University of Pikeville Bears on Saturday afternoon for another AAC matchup.
Reinhardt started strong, outscoring Pikeville 20-12 in the first quarter. They continued to extend their lead in the second quarter, with a score of 37-21 at halftime. The third quarter saw the Eagles further widening the gap, outscoring the Bears 32-8. UP was able to outscore Reinhardt by 3 points in the 4th quarter but the already point differential was enough to close the 76-62 win.
The leading scorer for the Eagles was Julia Craft, who scored 18 points. Ashley Woodroffe also had a strong game, scoring 14 points. Lastly, Avanna Preston led in rebounds with 8, assists with 6, and steals with 2.
Overall, Reinhardt showcased their offensive prowess and defensive strength in this game, outscoring and outrebounding Pikeville. The Eagles remain undefeated with a record 6-0 and a conference record of 4-0. The next game for the Eagles will be a home game this upcoming Tuesday, November 21st, at 5:30pm versus AAC opponents, the Bryan College Lions.

- Maria Sanchez Ponce led their team in scoring with 17, while Ashley Woodroffe had 16. Woodroffe also led in steals with 4.
