RU WBB Scores 100 in WIN Over the Brenau Tigers in AAC Home Opener!!!!

Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team dominated in their AAC Home-Opener versus the Brenau University Tigers on Saturday afternoon, with a final score of 103-67.

The game started off close, with both teams scoring consistently in the first quarter. However, Reinhardt pulled ahead in the second quarter, outscoring Brenau by 11 points. The momentum continued for Reinhardt in the third quarter, where they scored an impressive 37 points compared to Brenau's 20. In the final quarter, Reinhardt sealed their victory with another strong performance, outscoring Brenau by 7 points.

Reinhardt's Maria Sanchez Ponce had an outstanding game, recording a double-double with 22 points and 13 rebounds.  Tarrah Gibson also had a strong performance for Reinhardt, scoring 17 points and leading in assists with 6 and steals with 5.  

Overall, Reinhardt's strong offensive performance and efficient shooting led them to a decisive victory over Brenau. They outplayed their opponents in every quarter and showcased their dominance on both ends of the court. The Eagles improved their record to 4-0 and will be continuing their season with an away game at Union College on Thursday, November 16^th, at 5:30pm.
