RU WBALL Picks Up 89-71 Win at TMU!
Cleveland, GA – The Reinhardt Eagle women's basketball team emerged victorious in their away game against AAC opponents, the Truett-McConnell Bears on Wednesday night, with a final score of 89-71. This game saw Reinhardt maintain their undefeated record of 3-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play. Truett-McConnell, on the other hand, fell to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
The first quarter started with Reinhardt taking an early lead, scoring 22 points compared to Truett-McConnell's 14. Reinhardt's Avanna Preston, Julia Craft, Ashley Woodroffe, Tarrah Gibson, and Maria Sanchez Ponce started the game and contributed significantly to the team's success. Tarrah Gibson and Maria Sanchez Ponce were the leading scorers for Reinhardt, both scoring 21 points. They also showcased their shooting skills, with Gibson making five three-pointers and Sanchez Ponce making three.
