Reinhardt Gets Outworked In Dayton, TN.

Dayton, TN – Reinhardt traveled to Dayton, TN. in hopes to come back home with a win. However, the Lions of Bryan College had different plans as they outworked the Eagles with a final score of 102-69 to leave Reinhardt with another loss.
Within the first period, Reinhardt struggled to get a grip on the shots they worked for, as Head Coach Wagoner was forced multiple substitutions after missed opportunities and turnovers. This would highlight the remainder of this Conference matchup as the Lions took the first period 33-10.
As Reinhardt continued to find their flow, Ashley Woodroffe stepped in for the Eagles to lead the offense with 8-points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds. However, the Eagles put the Lions on the free throw line to shoot 80% to take the second quarter 55-29.
After the half, the Eagles looked different as they forced five turnovers and outworked the Lions defensively. The variation in this period was the Lions shot 81% at the three-point line to Reinhardt's 57%. Catherine Shope did her part in leading the offense with 12-points and Woodroffe added 8 with the Eagles down 54-86.
Headed into the fourth quarter, the pace of the game looked no different as the Lions continued to shoot and the Eagles continued to fight. With missed chances and turnovers, the Lions took the game from the Eagles.
