Bio

Coach Chance Cain is a lifelong resident of Cherokee County where he has been a teacher and coach for 28 years in the local school system. Coach Cain has coached softball for over 25 years at the rec, travel and high school level . He also owns his own instruction business where gives private baseball/softball instruction in Ball Ground, Ga. 

    This will be his first season coaching at the college level and appreciates Coach Wright in bringing him on board to help at Reinhardt. “I appreciate Coach Wright in giving me the opportunity to serve these talented student-athletes here at Reinhardt. The softball program here at Reinhardt has always been championship-caliber. I welcome the challenge to build upon the program’s  past success and assist in bringing home to Waleska, the program’s first national championship title.”

Coach Cain is a 1989 graduate of Cherokee High School in Canton, GA.  He played collegiate baseball at Berry College in Rome, GA, from 1990 – 1993, where he graduated with a degree in Health and Physical Education. Before graduating from Berry, Coach Cain was drafted by St. Louis Cardinals and went on to play three years in the Cardinals minor league system before starting his career in education in 1996.  Coach Cain, his gorgeous wife  Cindy, and beautiful daughter Caitlyn reside in Canton.
