Cleveland, TN - The Reinhardt softball team came out victorious in their double-header over the TMU Bears.
Game One (9-0, 5 innings):
From the first inning, Reinhardt University's Eagles set the tone for the game. Piling up four runs in the opening frame and replicating this scoring outburst in the fifth with another four runs, the strategy was clear and effectively executed. This early lead was crucial and showcased the Eagles' offensive strengths, thanks to significant contributions from players like Taylor Wade, Maddie Wright, and Ansley Hight.
Macy Langley was particularly stellar, hitting a critical 3 RBI double that not only boosted the score but also the team's morale. Taylor Wade also shone brightly, ensuring the Eagles' dominance with a well-timed RBI double.
