Waleska, GA - Reinhardt Softball picked up two more AAC wins on Saturday when the Union Bulldogs were visiting. Timely hits and great pitching in both games help the Eagles make easy work in this AAC showdown.
Game One, 6-3 Eagles!
Reinhardt had a big second inning which ended up being the winning innit for the Eagles. Eryn Lee singled to center field to score Macy Langley. Later, Lee stole third and Jolie Splendor stole home. A throwing error allowed Lee to score. The fourth run came from a hard hit by Ansley Hight to the shortstop, which allowed Maddie Wright to score from third.
Wright had a double in the game and Kyra Lightner and Maggie Englis both had triples.
The Eagles went with two pitchers in the game one win. Macy Langley started in the circle and pitched 5.1 innings, striking out 4 batters. She was relieved in the sixth inning by Taylor Haymans who had 5 strikeouts in her 1.2 innings.

Game Two, 11-0 Eagles!
In game two, Anslie Pettit went the entire five innings in the run-shortened game. She had 8 strikeouts giving little options for the Bulldogs lineup.

Eryn Lee and Ansley Hight were 2 for 2 in the game with Lee scoring 2 runs and Hight had 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Taylor Wade and Annika Smith were both 2 for 3 in the game. Wade had 3 runs score and Smith had a remarkable 5 RBIs.
Ansley Hight, Annika Smith, and Mallory Lumpkins all had doubles in the game. Smith had two doubles in the game where the Eagles left from start to finish.
Reinhardt extends their AAC record to 5-1 as the AAC games start heating up for the spring season. They will be on the road this Tuesday to face the Phoenix of Cumberland (TN).
