Waleska, GA. - In an impressive display of skill and coordination, the Reinhardt University softball team opened their season with a landslide victory over the St. Andrews University Knights. The game, which took place on Friday afternoon at thier home field, ended with the Eagles decisively defeating the Knights 9-1 & 10-2 in their first AAC conference game of the season.
Game One:
Right from the start, the Eagles set a commanding pace, scoring five runs in the first inning alone, thanks to robust performances from their line-up. Players like Eryn Lee and Maddie Wright were instrumental in racking up runs, contributing two and one runs respectively. The game saw a total of eight Eagles players crossing the plate, demonstrating a well-rounded offensive effort.
Pitching also played a crucial role, with Anslie Pettit starting on the mound for Reinhardt and contributing to a defensively strong game. The combined effort of batters and the pitcher ensured that Reinhardt maintained control throughout the game, limiting the Knights to just one run.

Not to be overshadowed, the RBIs distribution showed a team effort with Ansley Hight leading by registering four RBIs, further demonstrating her pivotal involvement in the day's success. A.
