Paramore Receives AAC Wrestler of the Week After Dominating Weekend

Jonathan Paramore - Reinhardt - Men's Wrestler of the Week

Jonathan Paramore went 3-0 on the week, earning him the AAC Men's Wrestler of the Week honors. The award was based on his performances during the week of Dec 9-15.

After being on the injury list since the spring of 2024, Jonathan Paramore returned to the mat in style for the Eagles.  He was able to win all of his matches at the Rocky Top Duals in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, helping the team go 3-0 over Pikeville, Rio Grande, and Rochester Christian.  Paramore is returning after tearing his ACL in the spring, and he will be a highly welcomed piece for Coach Bedard's squad going forward. He narrowly missed going to the NAIA Nationals last year, so this will be a goal for him moving forward.
 

AAC Men's Wrestler of the Week
Jonathan Paramore - Reinhardt - Junior

  • Went 3-0 at the Rocky Top Duals.
  • Won 1 match via forfeit and the other 2 by falls.
  • Recorded 1 fall in 1:29 and the other in 0:58.
  • Helped Reinhardt go 3-0 on the week as the Eagles won by a combined score of 157-11.
  • This is his first weekly honor of the year.
